Why Speak at MedFuse 2018
MedFuse.io will take place on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Coffman Memorial Union on the University of Minnesota campus from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We have already recruited some awesome speakers and conference chairs, but we need YOUR HELP in finding the interesting luminaries, namely doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare practitioners who have a knack for technology and innovation. We would also like to hear from interesting technologists, software developers, engineers, and data analysts who have a focus on healthcare. As well as people who build and invest in innovative connected medical devices and equipment, those who work in “Aging in Place” models assisted by connected technologies, and other related fields.
In general, we feel that much of the innovation in medicine has been stymied by consolidation. We are building a community-focused event and “primordial soup conditions” by inviting a variety of different perspectives to the same space, which allows creativity and innovation to thrive. We are not technology-myopic, all perspectives are welcome.
